Edgardo Gomez, a Mayan Shaman, moved to Canada in 1994 from El Salvador. He has successfully applied the traditional methods taught to him by his Grandmother, also a Shaman, in adapting to life in the city. Shamanic healing uses nature’s own way of cleansing and recycling energy. In our “Concrete Jungle” negative energies are collected and transferred sticking to walls, asphalt, objects, and people.
What is Shamanic Healing?
Edgardo applies energy healing by using the Universal energy surrounding us and the energy from the Earth we walk on, which can then raise, push, or pull positive and negative energy within ourselves to aid healing. Edgardo uses this energy with Shamanic teachings and other healing techniques to balance the soul and release the spirit by moving blockages created from anger, resentment, anxiety, fear, trauma, grief and more. These emotions if not addressed manifest often into emotional and physical ailments or illnesses.
How does Awareness Heal?
Awareness is understanding and utilizing the mind and bodies potential to heal ourselves through belief, consciousness and intention. Through awareness we can start to identify the root causes and reprogram the mind and body to promote balance and healing.
